Under 13s Mini-tour

 

Competitors from the recent mini-tour for Under 13year olds, sponsored by the Stanley Morrison Trust, and run by Fields in Trust and Glasgow Golf Union, attended a Reception and prizegiving in Glasgow City Chambers on the evening of Monday 4th November.  Ex-Provost, Baillie Jean McFadden,(and a fellow golfer) gave a speech of welcome and George Crawford, Captain of the Scottish Amateur  team which recently won the World Amateur Championship Eisenhower Trophy in Australia, spoke of the benefits of practice and dedication necessary to succeed before presenting the various winners with their prizes.
