Mini Tour

Cowglen Golf Club hosted the first of a new Mini Tour for boys and girls under 14 years of age. The tour, sponsored by the Stanley Morrison Trust, is being run by Fields in Trust (Strathclyde) in conjunction with Glasgow Golf Union. The tour will visit three courses in the Glasgow area – Cowglen, Sandyhills, and Bishopbriggs – on certain Sunday afternoons during June, August and September. Participants will compete in a 12 hole medal competition over each course.

The first of these medals at Cowglen on Sunday 8th June was well supported by both players and their parents. The good weather was also appreciated and contributed to the return of some excellent scores by the young field who are all to be congratulated for their behaviour both on and off the course.
